Boardman Battle of the Belt

Great kids competing for the Boardman Battle of the Belt.
November 26th we had some great kids compete in the Boardman Battle of the Belt. Kids from all over the states come to pursue this elusive prize! This is an optional open tournament that carries a championship belt for the victor. We had a long day with some kids wrestling in the morning and some in the afternoon. Smiles were abound seeing our former Mat Cat kids (now Middle School) also battling hard.
Howland represented well with quite a few placers and the kids polished up on some skills to get ready for this season. Congratulations boys for putting in a solid performance!!
Howland Mat Cats own Tyson Seesholtz wrestled hard, smart and aggresive. His style led to a victory, then other, and then two more. This kids tenacity was shown, not giving up a single point! He reached deep and achieved the ultimate prize. He is victorious and was awarded the Championship Belt!! Tyson then came into practice and shared his expierience with his entire team. A special moment that deserves recognition.
