2017 Virginia Beach National Duals

Members of the Howland Mat Cats wrestling club & Middle School teams had the opportunity to wrestle for Titan Wrestling Club at the Virginia Beach National Duals over Memorial Day weekend. Our wrestlers were Nick MiJavik, Ethan Snyder, Joseph Goldberg, Jake Baxter, Jake Starkey, Tyson Seesholtz & Jared Goldberg. These boys have dedicated themselves all season and post season to be prepared to represent the Ohio National Team in Virginia Beach. We are very proud of our boys efforts. Many of them had multiple wins against some very tough competition. They also had some very close matches. 

Coaches Brien Baxter & JT Seesholtz were asked to coach our School Boy Titan team. They did a phenomenal job with those boys! They really connected with these boys and they performed well!

Our boys really liked their teams and coaches. They enjoyed rooting for their team mates and really liked the big event atmosphere they experienced. The tournament was run well and we all had lots of opportunities to enjoy the beach and the area!

The boys are already setting goals for next year! This was a great experience for everyone! Can't thank Don Lowrence and Titan Wrestling Club enough! Also big thank you to Stacy Baxter for helping keep score and being available for any medical attention. We really enjoyed having all the Howland families that came down and we can't wait to do it again next year!
